Richard Mercado is an illustrator and comic artist from the Philippines, currently based in Savannah, Georgia. His goal is to create comics for young Filipino adults. His recent graphic novel, “Nang Mainlove Ako Sa Isang Sakristan” (That Time I Fell in Love With an Altar Boy) is published under Silaw Publishing. He has worked as an assistant editor for Komiket’s Kommunity Anthology and has published works for publications such as CNN Philippines, Philippine Star and Manila Bulletin.
