-
Self Determination
-

Participants will receive material ahead of the class that introduces them to the topic. During the session, they will discuss the material they read/watched and hear from a guest speaker on the topic. Participants will have an opportunity for group discussion with peers and the guest lecturer. About the material Participants should come away from the session with an understanding of the concept discussed and avenues for further independent research.
Who can apply to Tier 1?
People based in Malaysia who are 18 at the time of application can apply.
Is there a difference between the two classes on the same topic, for example, Free and Fair Elections on 6 March and 20 March?
No, the content is the same. We are providing two classes per topic to maximise the number of people who can attend. Please only apply for one class on each topic.
How much does it cost?
This programme is 100% free this year. In future years, there may be a fee charged for attendance.
Anything else I should know before signing up?
Due to the limited number of slots available, please only apply to the classes you are most interested in and at times you are sure you can attend. If you are unable to attend a class, please notify us at least 24 hours before the class starts. To be fair to all who wish to attend, signing up but not attending a class will disqualify you from future classes.
